NAZI ROUND-UP
YOUNG CHILDREN ARRESTED Rec. 9.30 a.m. LONDON, July 26. Children of more than eight years of age were among the 15,000 to 18,000 refugees from Axis-conquered countries arrested in the biggest round-up in France since the Storm troopers have taken over the policing of the country, says the correspondent of the United Press on the Franco-Swiss frontier. Male refugees have been put into a concentration camp at Compiegne. Women have been sent to Nancy and children to Paris. All will eventually be sent to Upper Silesia. The deportation of Dutch Jews to Poland and Russia began on Thursday, according to an agency message from Zurich. About 6000 Jews are to go from Amsterdam, where they have already been concentrated. According to reports, 600 are to be deported every day.
