SUCCESSFUL PATROL ACTION Rec. Noon. RUGBY, July 26. The Admiralty states: "A patrol of our light coastal forces intercepted two enemy flak trawlers off the French coast in the early hours of this morning. The patrol immediately engaged the enemy, pressing home the attack to point-blank range. One enemy trawler was left sinking and the other was severely damaged. "Our light forces returned to harbour safely, having suffered only two minor casualties and some slight superficial damage."
