FIRES IN BERLIN

REPORTS OF SABOTAGE

Rec. 11.30 a.m. NEW YORK, July 24.

The Stockholm correspondent of the New York Times states that 12 big flres raged in Berlin last weekend, destroying valuable properties. It is understood from reliable sources that all fires were due to sabotatge. The Gestapo is feverishly hunting for those responsible. Another Stockholm message says that seven new fires broke out in Berlin, making 12 in three days. The police say they are due to sabotage.
