The board stresses the need for producers doing everything in their power to maintain and even improve the quality of meat. Cool storage capacity now amounts to 256.000 tons of meat. Assets Include £49,444 in Government loans and cash at bankers, £1272. Payments irom the Marketing Department during the vear W^. re interest on investments amounted to £1169. Expenses of management totalled £9676, of which £5525 was at head office in New Zealand and the balance at the London office. Members' honoraria and travelling expenses amounted to £3239. Excess income over expenditure was £9351.
