FUTURE LOOKS BRIGHT
That promising juvenile Travancore is still in the Hawke's Bay district, where he was taken after his two-vear-old campaign had finished. Since the beginning of this month the son of Bulandshar and Tea Tattle has been ridden around daily by his part-owner, Mr. A. W. Meikle, and is reported to be doing well. As Travancore grew much faster than others of the same age, he was not extensively raced. Still, judged by the manner in which be beat a classy field of two-year-olds at Te Aroha last summer, a prosperous future should be in store for him.
