Leading Aircraftman Alexander Mclnnea, who left New Zealand for Canada last year, has received his commission as pilot officer. Twentyfour years of age Pilot Officer Mclnnes is a son of the late Mr. Alexander Mclnnes, of Maramarua. He was employed by the Southdown Freezing Works and resided at Otahuhu. He was a member of the Ellerslie and Lynndale Athletic CJubs, and won many trophies for long-distance Tunning.
