Mr. J. Stanton left for Wellington last evening.
The Minister of Transport, Mr. Semple, left Wellington on the northbound Limited last evening.
Mr. W. H. Cocker, president of the Auckland University College, returned by the Limited this morning.
The Very Rev. T. H. Roseveare, of Tauranga, has been appointed to the charge of the Ellerslie Presbyterian Church for three years from August 27. He succeeds the Rev. D. R. McDonald, who has gone into camp as a chaplain. r
