TWO GIRLS INJURED

(0.C.) HUNTLY, this day. Injuries necessitating their removal to the Waikato Hospital were received by two Huntly girls when they were struck by a motor car on the Great South Road near Huntly last evening.

Miss Eileen Donaldson, aged 19, employed in the Huntly post office, received a fractured leg and head injuries, and Miss Gwendoline McMullen, aged 18, also employed in the Huntly post office, suffered concussion. Both are progressing satisfactorily.
