NEW SEASON'S POTATOES (0.C.) WELLINGTON. Tuesday. The basis of prices to growers for 1942-43 potatoes which he would recommend to the Price Tribunal was announced to-day by the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Barclay, as follows:— New Potatoes.—For all varieties of immature potatoes (those easily skinned), delivery prior to • February 28. 1943 (all prices are for delivery on trucks, growers' station. sacks included): (a) Delivery prior to October 1. 1942, price left freelb) delivery between October 1 and October 15, 1942, price to range between £30 and £35 a tonic) delivery between October 16 and October 31, 1942, between £25 and £30; (d) delivery between November 1 and November 15, 1942, between £20 and £25; (e) delivery between November 16 and November 30. 1942, between £15 and £20; <f> . delivery December, 1942, between £14 and £18: (g) delivery January or February. 1943. between £12 and £14.
