TRAIN AND JIGGER
As a result of a collision between a train and a jigger at Kaipara Flats yesterday afternoon, two men were admitted to the Auckland Hospital with broken legs.
One is Mr. David Robertson, aged 58, married, an inspector of permanent ways, of 6, Kitirawa Street, Remuera, who had both legs broken. The other is Mr. Harold Turner, aged 54, married, a ganger, of Kaipara Flats, who suffered a broken left leg. Both underwent operations and the condition of each to-day was satisfactory.
