Mr. E. J. Schofield travelled to Wellington last evening. Mr. James Fletcher, Commissioner of Defence Construction, leaves for Wellington this evening. Mr T. A. Barrow, air secretary, arrived from Wellington by the Limited this morning. Mr. W. P. Endean, M.P. for Remuera, leaves for Wellington by the Limited this evening. Mr. H. T. Falla, president of the Baptist Union of New Zealand, is visiting Auckland, and is staying at the Baptist College, Remuera. Mr. W. H. Cocker was re-elected president of the Auckland University College Council for the fifth succesI sive year at yesterday's meeting. Mr. A. H. Johnstine, K.C., was re-elected vice-president for the 'sixth year.
