OBITUARY

i MR. PETER FARRELL. _ The death has occurred of Mr. Peter Farrell, aged 67, at his residence, 97, Norwood Road, Bayswater. Born at Riverton, Mr. Farrell was a i well-known figure in the Dominion , and had made his home in Auckland since 1913. Mr. Farrell became a

showman earlj' in life, and for over 25 years he had a stand at the corner of Queen and Victoria Streets His wide-brimmed black sombrero, loosefitting jacket and artist's tie attracted passers-by, and invariably he was able to hold their attention for a long time with his continuous and persuasive sales talk. Mr. Farrell attended all kinds of shows, selling his wares all over the Dominion. He is survived by his wife and one daughter.
