TO-NIGHT'S BOXING

The first heavyweight contest to take place In Auckland for years will be staged in the Town Hall this evening, under the control of the Auckland Boxing Association. It will be a return bo.it between Bob Pascoe, formerly of Southland, and Don Mullett. of Wellington. The latter, who is a pupil of Maurice Strickland, well-known New Zealand heavyweight, is a young boxer of decid?d promise. He won the decision in the Wellington match. There will be some good amateur preliminaries in which members of the United Nations" military forces will compete.
