WATER FOR WESTFIELD
An additional fifteen inch pipe-line is being laid by the waterworks staff of the Auckland City Council to augment the water supply for the Westfield industrial area, the new section being from the Harp of Erin, to connect with the other pipeline at Westfield. It is anticipated that the work will be completed before the next killing season, so that there will be an ample supply for all the Westfield works.
