CHARGE OF ENTERING

PRISONER REMANDED

Arrested yesterday afternoon on a breaking and entering charge, Clifford Douglas Keane, aged 28, stood in the dock in the Police Court this morning, handcuffed to a constable.

Keane was charged with breaking and entering by day on July 16 the dwelling cf Alice Maud Short, 142, Campbell Road and stealing £9 in money and a camera valued at £5.

"There are numerous other charges pending, including two of escaping from custody," said Detective-Ser-geant Trethewey. who asked that Keane be remanded until 7y 24.

The presiding justices granted the remand.
