fllX-r-tJAUiAXHJXH. WS PUBLIC NOTICE THE AUCKLAND FRUIT AND PRODUCE AUCTIONEERS' ASSOCIATION £500 REWARD £500 R E WARD It has come to our knowledge that wild statements are being persistently circulated throughout the City in regard to the activities of members of this Association. In particular it is being said that vegetables have been ploughed in or otherwise destroyed at the instigation of our members, with the object of keeping those necessary articles of v diet in short supply, and by this means raising prices. Such statements are absolutely untrue, but may mislead the public and we are determined to stop them. This Association now offers a Reward of £500 to any' person providing us with evidence which enables us to compel the person or persons responsible for spreading these false reports to pay substantial damages. THE AUCKLAND FRUIT AND PRODUCE AUCTIONEERS' ASSOCIATION P.O. BOX 683. E " H " TOWNSENr> ' Secretary.
