LIQUOR PRODUCTION
RESTRICTIONS SUGGESTED
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. The conference of the Farmers' Lnion decided that the Government be requested to provide that the production of, and facilities for the sale of liquor in New Zealand be restricted for the period of the war and 12 months thereafter, with a \iew to improving the efficiency of the war effort and the conservation of grain, sugar and other supplies for essential purposes.
