MAY MONTH TRADE RETURN
Exports during May were valued at £7,450,000, compared with £3,919,000 in April and £6,644,000 in the corresponding month last year. I«" ports at £4,926,000 showed a rise w £1,688,000 on the previous montn. Indications are that exports for the production year, which ends on June 30, will be the highest for five years. For 11 months they total £63,014,000, against £60,453.000 in the same period last vear, while imports are £45,675,000. against £42,502,000.
