AIR PRODUCTION RISE

Rec. 9.30 WASHINGTON, July 16. The Aeronautical Chamber of Commerce estimated that aircraft industry production was 1500 per cent up at the end of the first 33 months of the war. In August, 1939, .aeroplane production was onlv 250 a month, with only 30,000 workers in the aircraft industry. In December, 194 L, the workers totalled 390,000. There will be still further expansion next year, when 125,000 planes will be produced.
