NEW MINISTERS' DUTIES
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. The duties of the new Ministers dealing with manpower, appointed to the War Administration, are outlined in the National t Service Ministers' Emergency Regulations gazetted to-night. They outline the portfolios of Mr. McLagan, Minister of Industrial Manpower, Mr. Bodkin, Minister of Civil Defence, and Mr. Broadfoot, Minister of National Service, in much the same manner as was indicated by the Prime Minister. Mr. Fraser, when he announced •he War Administration Ministry on June 30. One interesting feature, however, is the fact that the administration of certain regulations will come within the province of the Minister of Justice, including those relating to special tribunals dealing with conscientious objectors whose appeals have been allowed and defaulters' detention camps.
