OBITUARY
MR. LOUIS WHITCOMBE
The death has occurred in Wellington of Mr. L. D. H. Whitcombe, for many years a director and manager of the Wellington branch of Whitcombe and Tombs, Ltd. A son of the late Mr. G. H. Whitcombe, founder of the firm, he was born and educated in Christchurch, attending Christ's College. He was at various times an executive member of the Wellington Master Printers' Association, the New Zealand Booksellers' Association, and the Wellington Chamber of Commerce.
His elder brother, Mr. B. E. H. Whitcombe, of Christchurch, is the present managing director of the company.
