At a meeting of the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council held on the 13th day of July, 1942, It was resolved: — No person shall load or carry on any vehicle cans containing milk for sale or delivery in the Milk District in a manner that any can is wholly or partly supported by or presses upon any can on a lower level unless the upper and lower cans are separated from each other by a decking of wood or by other hygienic material sufficient in all respects to prevent damage to either can by the other through impact, bumping or otherwise. The above resolution shall come into force on the 28th day of July. 1942.
