Mander—Myers.—Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Myers, of 473, Parnell Road, announce the engagement of their elder daughter, Joan Helen, to Kenneth Eric, R.N.Z.A.F., youngest son of Mrs. and the late Mr. H. F. Mander, Gibbons Road, Upper Hutt.

To make a dustbin sanitary, burn an old dirty newspaper or handful of straw in it after it has been emptied. This will remove every trace of grease or damp and render the dustbin quite clean and free from any unpleasant smell.
