SEVEN-A-SIDE GAMES ATHLETIC EVENTS ALSO STAGED The annal King's Birthday seven-a-side hotkey tournament and athletic sports, arranged by the Auckland Hockey Assoj elation, were held at Hobson Park today. Very keen play was the order in the hockey matches, and the athletic events were closely contested. Forty-six teams entered for the tournament games, this number exceeding all expectations. Two trophies were competed for, these being decided on the points system. The team gaining most points in both tournament games and sports events takes the Trevor Davis Challenge Cup and the run-ners-up the Harvard Challenge Cup. The primary schools trophy, the Rupert C. Moore Memorial Clip, will not be competed for until later in the season. The carnival officials were Mr. O. Herriott and Messrs. T. Clarke, H. Watts, I. Gunn and \V. Jones.
