ELDERLY MAN KILLED
When he was knocked down by a motor car in Wellesley Street, city last evening, an elderly man suffered injuries from which he subsequently died. He was:— Frederick Coyle, aged 80, single, a retired plumber, of 15, France Street, Newton. Mr. Coyle was admitted to the Auckland Hospital last evening suffering from a fracture of the right hip and died about 2 o'clock this morning.
