A REMEDY
I read in the Star that an epidemic of ringworm had broken out in Auckland, and thought I would pass on to the public an old cure which I know has never failed. My husband got ringworm after skinning an affected calf, his hands and arms were one mass of ringworm. After chemists and doctors had failed to cure him, an old gentleman cave me his remedy, which cured my husband in less than a week. Since then I have told other sufferers about it, with the same results. Boil half a pint of vinegar, stir in one packet of Epsom salts, wash the affected parts four or five times a day. do not wipe with a towel after washing, but dab with a clean soft rag and burn. The solution must be as hot as the skin can stand and the same solution may be reheated and used three or four times. J. STILL WELL.
