CHURCH TRIBUTES Various aspects of the work of Bishop SelWyn, who landed, in this country a hundred years ago, were featured in addresses in St. Mary s Cathedral Church during Selwyn anniversary services held yesterday. The first bishop's high endeavours against trepiendous odds in raising the church in New Zealand provided the text of a sermon by the Bishop of Auckland, Rt. Rev. W. J. Simkin at the evening service.
