TE AWAMUTU, Sunday

Advice has been received by Mr. A. T. Weal, of Pukeatua, that his eldest son, Leading-Aircraftman Kenneth Weal, was killed in Canada on May 19 as the result of an aircraft accident. Leading-Aircraftman Weal went overseas in July of last year and would have celebrated his 20th birthday three days after the date of his death. He was born at Pukeatua and educated at the Pukeatua School and the Te Awamutu District High School.
