PLANE TRAGEDY
Rec. 2 p.m. MELBOURNE, this day. When an Australian National Airways DMBO plane, bound from Melbourne to Launocston. crashed into the sea off Flinders Island, the pilot and three passengers were killed. In the last message received from the plane the pilot said he was having engine trouble and was flying on one engine.
