LOSS OF MAIL
FROM AUCKLAND PROVINCE RESULT OF ENEMY ACTION (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Fridav. Thf Postmaster - General. Mr "ebb, regrets to announce the loss by enemy action of a small mail contaming correspondence posted in P rovin ce for the United Kingdom and Europe. The mail consisted of 14 bags, of which nve contained civilian correspondence and one troop mail for the Lnited Kingdom, also one bag for Switzerland, and sever, bags of parcels for prisoners of war in Germany. The dates of posting were: Business correspondence and pnsoner of war parcels, February 28 to March 4, inclusive; other correspondence February 14 to February 18, inclusive.
