ARMY APPOINTMENT
BRIGADIER D. DOBSON (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Friday. The Minister of Defence, Mr. Jones", announced to-day that Lieu-tenant-Colonel D. He was appointed to command a ba Vilion of the Canterbury Regiment in October, 1940, and has been on full-time service since mobilisation. He attended a course at the New Zealand Staff College last year and had been commanding a brigade in an acting capacity for a considerable time prior to the present appointment.
