WAR CABINET PLAN

PARTY LEADERS MEET (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Friday. Discussions of the reccnt proposal of the New Zealand Returned Services' Association for an enlarged War Cabinet with the inclusion of a number of Ministers selected from outside Parliament took place to-day between the Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser. and the Leader of the Opposition Mr. Holland. Various other matters in the direction of national unity were also discussed. An invitation to meet him and discuss these proposals was extended to Mr. Holland by Mr. Fraser following public representations by the association a fortnight ago. The meeting between the party leaders lasted ninety minutes. Discussions will be continued next week.
