SCOW ASHOKM 111 T ( IiIAV SAFE (0.C.) IN VE RCA KG ILL. Friday. The scow Horouta. from Bluff, went ashore on the north-east point of Centre Island, Foveaux Strait, early yesterday morning, and it is feared it will become a total loss. Horouta was taking stores to the island, and was apparent lv driven ashore by the heavy seas running in the strait. The scow is now under water, with only her deckhouses showing. The master. Captain A. S. Miller, and the three members of the crew are safely ashore.
