GESTAPO SLEUTHS
Increasing Efforts To Trace Heydrich's Attackers REGISTRATION OF CZECHS Rec. 10.30 a.m. LONDON, May 28. Czechoslovak circles in London state that'the attempt on the life of Reinhard Heydrich, Gestapo Com-missar-General for occupied countries, was made with automatic rifles. Two men, aged between 30 and 35, fired on Heydrich's car on Wednesday morning. Both escaped, one by bicycle and the other on foot. One man left behind an attache case, which the Gestapo are using in an endeavour to trace the attackers. The Prague radio says that the Gestapo is making further efforts to find Heydrich's attackers and has announced that the population of Bohemia and Moravia over 15 years of age must register with the police by midnight to-morrow, after which anyone found without a registration card will be shot. Those hiding unregistered persons will also be shot.
