BUTTER AND CHEESE

GRADING COMPETITION Owing to the Hamilton Winter Show being abandoned, the annual meeting of the Auckland branch of' the New Zealand Dairy Factory Managers' Association was held at the Auckland Grading Stores to-day. Those present were able to inspect stored butter and current consignments of cheese, besides the winning entries in the majority of the Waikato Show's butter classes, which were previously judged in Auckland. Mr. E. C. Wood, chief dairy produce grader gave a report on the butter and cheese quality of the current season, and Mr. A. G. Brown, general manager of the Auckland Farmers' Freezing Company, presented his company's cheques for the successful competitors in tne company's grading competition.
