THE LIBERTY LOAN
r\NLY four days now remain for the raising of the five millions required v to make the Liberty Loan of fifteen millions the success which grim necessity demands. One of those days Is a Sunday, another is a public holiday. Citizens who have felt the urge of patriotism and of duty and have put off till the last moment the fulfilment of their intention to subscribe must now realise that that last moment has arrived. Never have greater facilities been provided for the investor, from £1 upwards to the hundreds, to give his support to the man in the field. The banks, heavy contributors to the loan themselves, are making it very easy total! to assist, whether customers or not, while many business concerns in addition to their own subscriptions, are helping their employees to invest by spreading the payments over the next six months. The loan is essential. It is the plain duty of every man and woman in the country to help, and that help must be given without delay or it will be too late The lists close on Tuesday next, but all applications made on that day will be In time.
