MOTOR FAKES SUBSIDY (PA.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Dominion executive of the New Zealand Returned Services' Association, at a recent meeting received advice that the War Cabinet had decided to grant a subsidy on motor fares charged to servicemen travelling to and from their homes on leave. The question of aliens entering in . » businesses similar to or identical with those closed, leased or carried on by wives or relatives of men called tip for service was also considered and it is anticipated that some concrete proposals will emanate from a discussion on the subject at the forthcoming annual general meeting of the Dominion council.
