Incendiary Bombs Discovered At Johannesburg POLICE TREASON CHARGES Rec. noon. JOHANNESBURG, May 26. Over 140 incendiary bombs have been found in various parts of Johannesburg Liberty Cavalcade Exhibition, opened by Field-Marshal Smuts last Saturday, to raise war funds. The Danish hall was destroyed by a fire caused by an incendiary. Fire bombs have been removed from the United States, Soviet, Scottish, Netherlands and Palestine pavilions and from the cinema. Forty-eight persons, including 10 detectives, three sergeants and four constables of the South African Police, have been charged with treason. They will appear in Court 1 on June 2.
