SUNDAY ENTERTAINMENT A T A le tion . of th< ? Mayor, Mr. J. A. C. Allum, in calling a conference of various interests to provide for Sunday entertainment and recreation for members of the fighting forces was approved at a meeting of the Auckland Metropolitan Patriotic Committee last evening. Mr. Allum said that he had been specially concerned to secure agreement and co-operation of cV interests. To supervise, but organise, in detail Sundav enchainments a special committee had been set up.
He asked the conference to approve the following committee:—G. W. Hutchison, chairman. Dean W Fancourt, Dr. T. Button, the Rev' W. Bower Black, the Rev. A. Everii & Bu§ h. M. J. Moodabe and Norrpan Heath. wa^pproved 016 " 1 ° f pommittee
