Allum, in calling a conference of various interests to provide for Sunday entertainment and recreation for members of the fighting forces was approved at a meeting of the Auckland Metropolitan Patriotic Committee last evening. Mr. Allum said that he had been specially concerned to secure agreement and co-operation of cV interests. To supervise, but organise, in detail Sundav enchainments a special committee had been set up.
