INDOOR BOWLING
The Auckland Inter-house Indoor Bowling Association's Open Fours resulted -in victory for J. B. O'Loughlen and Co.'s team. E. Kage, W. McAneane.v, C. McCloughen, F. Ktoupe, which was the only unbeaten team in the tourney. Seven rinks from the Grcv Iwnn R.S.A. visited the Orange Club to play for the Hallworth Shield. The visitors won eight games to the Orange Club's 13. H. Gelding's quartet defeated W. Venville's four in the final. Sponsored by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Parry, a new indoor club is being formed 'under the guidance of Mr. V". Rawle. This is catering for elderly men, and play is at the Transport Hall on Wednesday afternoons. It is hoped soon to form a similar club for women, under the control of Miss G. Gebbie.
