TYRE AND TUBE CENSUS
(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. A Dominion tyre and tube census will be conducted with the relicensing of motor vehicles this year. Information about the ultimate purpose of the census is not vet available. The chief postmaster, Mr. V. c. Lawn, said to-day that each owner of a motor vehicle would be required to complete a special census form before a licensing label was issued to him for his vehicle. The census required the to state all tvres and tubes owned by him, whether on a vehicle or in stock..
