MERCY RECOMMENDATION
GUII/TY OF INTENT TO HARM (P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Tuesday. A jury in the Supreme Court at New Plymouth acquitted Alfred James CunnifTe, or Kanotu, farmer, of a Item pica murcier. but found him guilty of intent to do grievous bodily harm to Ivy Elizabeth McDonald, known as Mrs. CunnifTe. and her daughter Beverley, by discharging a firearm. A strong recommendation to mercy was added.
