QUEEN MARY'S BIRTHDAY

British Offlclnl Wireless Rec. 1.30 p.m. RUGBY. May 26. Queen Mary spent her 75th birthday at her wartime home in the West I Country, where she read telegrams and congratulations from wellwishers at home and in many parts of the Empire. To a telegram from the Lord Mayor of London, Queen Mary replied: "It gives me great, happiness to know I can still claim the warmhearted remembrances of the citizens of London in the midst of all their wartime difficulties and anxieties. I assure you that nothing will ever dim my feelings of affection for London and gratitude to li:t citizens for their nc*vr-fjiH>«;; ki.i ir.Caj to mj for so many years."
