LEAGUE OF WOMENFOLK

The annua! meeting of the Takapuna group of the League of Womenfolk of the Overseas Forces was held yesterday, the convener, Mrs. B Gibbons, presiding. The annual report, covering the year's activities was presented by the secretary, Mrs. A. K. Fenwick. The president of the parent group, Mrs. G. H. Clifton, and the general secretarv, Mrs. A Turner, attended the meeting. Mrs' Clifton congratulated the group on their work and their plans for establishing a convalescent home at Takapuna for men of the overseas forces.

The following officers were elected: —Convener. Mrs. B. Gibbons; secretary, Mrs. A. K. Fenwick; treasurer. Miss O'Neill. A committee was also elected.
