FOR SERVICEMEN

CLUB FACILITIES PLANNED The creation of club and hostel facilities for a large number of servicemen is planned in Auckland by the National Patriotic Fund Board. The secretary of the board, Mr. G. A. Hayden, returned to Wellington yesterday, after making inquiries in connection with this comprehensive scheme. He made an inspection of several Queen Street and Customs Street properties to investigate their possibilities of conversion for the purpose. No decision has yet been made in this regard.
