Words That Are Needed For Victory
I am writing about words this week, and I don't think I need make any apology for doing so. For while words might lead to defeat, words that lull and weaken us, words that are all wind and no muscle, to say nothing of words that are deliberately defeatist, there are words that are necessary for victory —words of truth, however unpleasant, words of warning, words of encouragement and inspiration, words of comfort and cheer, words that seem to be the image of our innermost faith, cut in steel.
