ARMY MOTOR CYCLES

RAPID ASSEMBLY WORK Using mass production methods a city garage is making a rapid job of the assembly of several hundred American motor cvcles needed for military purposes in the northern district. Between 1 p.m. on Wednesday last and 9.30 a.m. on Thursday 150 of the machines had been assembled. As many as 18 an hou" are now coming off the assembly lines. The complete assembly of one machine in 33 minutes is the record to date. The work is being done by a big team of mechanics, a number of whom came from other garages in response to an appeal by the National Service Department.
