OBITUARY

MR. JAMES HENDRY

Mr. James Hendry has died at his residence in Pukehana Avenue Epsom, at the age of 83. Mr. Hendry was formerly senior inspector of schools under the Southland Education Board, and spent the whole of his career in that province. He retired 20 years ago and took up his residence in Auckland. There was no family, and his wife, who was a former teacher at the Southland Girls High School, predeceased him two years ago.
