HEAVY TRAIN BOOKINGS

Heavy rail traffic continued over the week-end. Last night, in addition to the usual Limited at 7.15, which was fully booked, there were two relief expresses to Wellington: one at 6 o'clock and one at 7.35. The first relief was fully booked, while the 7.35 had very few seats or sleepers left. Both the 3 o'clock and the 7.15 expresses to Wellington to-day are fully booked, necessitating an overflow express at 6.0. for which reservations have been heavy.
