ENTERTAINMENT OF SOLDIERS
The question of providing entertainment for soldiers on leave at the week-end is one "which should have been tackled kng aso. It has probably been forced unon us by reports from Australia' that the Americans have dccl-.u-ed \hat. if entertainment is not provided they will provide their own. It may be that this has alarmed a section of the community. Pro\ ision for entertainment of soldiers is as much a function of the Government as is the providing of food and clothing. The Minister of War should take the matter out of the realm of controversy and deal with the nosition. C. E. ARCHIBALD.
